بدعوة من الأستاذ مالك هرهرة، أستاذ الدعم النفسي والاجتماعي في الثانوية العامة، والعضو العربي الوحيد في مجلس التعليم لبلدية ميفديل - ميشيغان، حضر الاستاذ المهندس صالح المحبشي مدير مدرسة الروضة الكندية العالمية في العاصمة عدن  حضر مساء الإثنين 16 يونيو 2025م اجتماع مجلس التعليم البلدي الذي عُقد في تمام الساعة 7 مساءًا...

وقدم المهندس المحبشي خلال الاجتماع محضرًا مكوّنًا من ثلاث صفحات تضمّن الموافقة على خطة التعليم للعام الدراسي المقبل، واحتياجات المدارس من الكادر التعليمي والفني، ومتطلبات التلاميذ والطلاب...

 وأشار المحبشي إلى أن ما لفت انتباهه هو حجم الاهتمام والميزانية المخصصة للتعليم، مما يعكس بوضوح أن التعليم أولًا في بلد كأمريكا.وان جميع أعضاء المجلس منتخبون من قبل أبناء المجتمع المحلي، ويمثلون قطاعات مهنية متنوعة، وليس فقط من يعملون في التعليم، ما يعكس روح التعددية والكفاءة المجتمعية...

وفي ختام الاجتماع، رحّب مدير المنطقة التعليمية الأستاذ Ryan Vranesich، بالمهندس المحبشي وأبدى استعداده لتخصيص وقت قريب للقاء نقاشي حول إمكانية الاستفادة من النموذج الأمريكي في التعليم والتعاون المستقبلي...

 وأكد المحبشي أن التجربة الملهمة تؤكد أن الاستثمار في الإنسان يبدأ من قاعة الصف!.. 

‏From the Heart of Educational Decision-Making: Where the Future of Learning is Shaped!

‏Upon the kind invitation of Mr. Malek Harhara, high school psychosocial support teacher and the only Arab member of the Melvindale Education Board, I had the honor of attending the district’s Education Council meeting on Monday, June 16, 2025, at 7:00 PM.
‏During the session, I presented a three-page report addressing the approval of the new academic year’s education plan, staffing needs (both teaching and technical), and student support requirements.
‏???? Key Observations:
‏ • The serious financial and administrative commitment to education clearly shows that education comes first in a country like the U.S.
‏ • All council members are elected by the public, with only two from the education field, while the rest come from diverse government and private sectors—an inspiring example of democratic representation.
‏At the end of the meeting, District Superintendent Mr. Ryan Vranesich welcomed me warmly and expressed interest in meeting soon to discuss ways to benefit from the American educational experience and explore future collaboration.
‏???? A powerful reminder that human development starts in the classroom.
